Managing partner Ethan Williams, along with his father Chuck and brother Thomas, took a hard look at the waste hauling industry before getting started. They didn’t guess what customers wanted. They read the reviews.
Over and over again, the same problems kept coming up. Missed pickups. Poor communication. Customers feeling like they didn’t matter.
They knew it didn’t have to be that way.
Williams Waste Haulers was created to do things differently. To provide a dependable, professional waste hauling service where customers are treated the way they should be.
Chuck brings decades of experience to the company, including his role as General Manager of a local dumpster manufacturing business. Ethan studied logistics and put that education to use working for the same company as his father. His education and experience give him a strong understanding of operations, routing, and what it takes to run things efficiently. He recently left his position to focus on Williams Waste Haulers full time.

Williams Waste Haulers isn’t a company that just works in this area. This is home. Chuck has built his life in Trout Run. Ethan lives in Williamsport. The towns we serve aren’t dots on a map to us. They’re the same communities we drive through every day, the same places where family, friends, and customers all cross paths. That matters. Because when you’re local, you don’t cut corners. You don’t ignore problems. You don’t treat people like numbers. You take pride in doing things right.

At Williams Waste Haulers, we take our service seriously, but we don’t think everything has to feel corporate.
There’s nothing worse than forgetting to take out the trash or recycling. We wanted to post reminders for our residential customers, but we also knew those can get repetitive fast.
That’s where the cartoons came in.
If you’ve seen our posts on Facebook, you’ve probably met Ethan and the raccoon. What started as a simple way to make weekly reminders more engaging turned into something people actually look forward to.
Chuck says, “That raccoon will follow Ethan around for the rest of his life.” Honestly, we hope so. Because at the end of the day, we’re not just here to pick up trash. We’re here to make the experience better, easier, and maybe even a little more enjoyable.
